Adult Bible Study
Parishioners gather for short-term Bible study around chosen themes. Bible Studies are held in-person and online.

Charismatic Prayer Group
Our Charismatic Prayer Group gives praise, honor, thanks and love to Jesus Christ our Lord and Savior. Our gatherings include Christian music, charismatic prayer, discussion of biblical readings and sharing prayer petitions. We meet on first Tuesday of the month online from 7:00-8:30 PM.

Community Life
Our Community Life ministry seeks to foster intergenerational, social interactions among ALL parishioners in an effort to build community. Through social events and deliberate outreach, we strengthen our mission of being an intentional community of faith.

Holiday Fair
Each year our community hosts a large Holiday Fair featuring crafters, bake sale, cookie walk, tea cup raffle, silent auction, and community fun. Many parishioners contribute in a variety of ways to this highly anticipated annual event. Learn More

Knights of Columbus
The Knights of Columbus is the world’s largest Catholic fraternal organization for men to offer service to the parish, be faithful citizens in the community, and conduct lives of charity, unity and fraternity.  Meetings are held on the second Monday of each month at 7:00 PM. Learn More

Men’s Retreat
Each year the men of the parish are invited to attend a weekend retreat together at Holy Family Passionist Retreat Center in West Hartford, Connecticut.

Precious Blood Prayer Group
The Precious Blood prayer group gathers each Thursday at 3:00 PM in the Blessed Sacrament Chapel at St. James. The group typically prays the Rosary and Divine Mercy Chaplet, lifting the intentions of the parish and each other during their one hour together. All are welcome!

Nurturing Seedlings welcomes parents of children birth to age five. Our ministry seeks to build community among new parents as well as help parents receive the support, encouragement and skills to nurture the spiritual life of their young children. Learn more
