Rochelle joined us in 2026 as the Director of Music. She has been a music director at various Catholic churches for 28 years, including Camp LeJuene military base, San Jose State Newman Center, St. Matthew's in Tolland, and St. Thomas & St. Timothy Parish in West Hartford. Rochelle earned a BA from the College of the Holy Cross, who also granted her an Honorary Doctorate in Music in 2014. She has a Master's degree in Vocal Performance from the New England Conservatory, and has studied piano and accompanied singers most of her life. Rochelle teaches private voice and piano lessons and has been lucky to have a professional singing career, with solo performances on stages including Carnegie Hall, Lincoln Center, Mormon Tabernacle Choir, and various symphonies and opera companies. But her heart has always been is in sacred music, where she uses a variety of styles from classical to contemporary to support the prayer and celebration of liturgies.
