Grades 4 - 8

Welcome to Faith Formation at Saint Josephine Bakhita Parish. Children in Grades 4 - 8 will be learning from the Pflaum Gospel Weeklies through the Venture and Vision Programs. Students in Grades 4-5 will use the Venture Program and students in Grade 6-8 will use the Visions Program. Our goal is to meet in person, twice a month, for one hour. We will provide activities, resources, and assignments for your children to review and complete on the weeks that we do not meet in person. These activities will be linked on this webpage, which will be updated on a regular basis. Thank you for your support and prayers as we strive to partner with you and your children as they journey in faith.

Meet Our Coordinators

Traci-Lynn Fox and Cristina McLain

Grades 4-8 Coordinators
Email: faithformation@sjbrh.org

Cristina McLain and Traci-Lynn Fox stepped into their shared role as Faith Formation Coordinators for Grades 4–8 in September 2025, bringing with them a natural partnership that quickly transformed into a genuine friendship. From the moment they began working together, it was clear that their lives were uniquely paralleled in ways that strengthened their connection and deepened their shared mission.

Both Cristina and Traci-Lynn are mothers of three, each raising a lively household that includes a set of twins. Their families also share another unexpected similarity—each home is brightened by a beloved family dog named Milo.

Their friendship, grounded in these shared experiences, reflects the spirit they bring to their ministry. Cristina and Traci-Lynn are dedicated to fostering continuity, spiritual growth, and fellowship within the Faith Formation Program. Their goal is to guide and support the youth of the parish while encouraging connection and faith-filled engagement among families and adult members as well. Together, they bring warmth, enthusiasm, and a deep commitment to nurturing a community rooted in faith.
